Forums - Gaming Discussion - VGchartz is fun, but what you do in REAL life?

I go to school (freshman in college), I play hockey, I watch hockey, I hang out with friends/gf, and I go to work.

That pretty much sums it up.

I work as a bouncer in Norway's 3rd largest city, I write reviews (games) for a small, local newspaper and I'm currently entering studies to become a personal trainer.
My pasttimes are mostly playing games, powerlifting and writing (I have quite a few book projects that I hope to finish one day, from Fantasy to ancient Europe to WWII novels).
I also spend wayyyy too much time online, on this very site among others (I don't post as much lately though).

I live here. But sometimes I play games yeasterday I was playing Oot.Then I have guitar lessons. And other times I'm dreaming about getting banned by twesterm.

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

Since I get on VGchartz mostly at work, It doesn't take up any of my free time.
I work as a computer technician, usually working an about 5 computers at a time.

When I am not at work or looking at VGcharts:
Playing games (obviously)
working on my own computers/truck
leaning programming
playing music
hanging out with friends (which usually means playing multiplayer on SNES)
physical training
And all the various chores I have to do so house is clean.

Hmm, well I work from home mostly (which is why I have so much time to spend in the forums). I buy distressed assets from faltering companies, as in, truck loads of goods that get written off, or loads claimed against insurance. Then I either export the material, or sale it domestically.

My fun outside of gaming is mostly my family. My wife and 3 boys (well, the third is almost here). We also travel a lot... love just leaving town on unplanned, spur-of-the-moment road trips.

Favorite activity is watching football.  I'm a huge Cowboys/Colts fan in the NFL and the Alabama Crimson Tide in college football.

Socialize with family.

We have a chain of stores called Mardens in my area, all it sells is that kind of stuff. I used to love going in there and finding all kinds of weird stuff for cheap.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.
