This would force me to finally buy a DS, as long as they kept the game simple maybe adding some of the later games better features.

I've posted this before, but someone had received this from Nintendo World in NYC and took a picture of it. Plus Johto's game data IS in the Diamond and Pearl coding. Forum users of Serebii.net have hacked the ROM of both Diamond and Pearl and found that Johto's data is in it. One piece of the coding is shown in the picture above on the origin of this Chikorita.

Plus there is said (my Japanese from Final Fantasy XI who is a big Pokemon fanatic; her name is Yukari, and she informed me of this from a magazine related to the Coro-Coro) to be a new Eevee evolution being thought of for the remake of Johto and it's a Dragon-typed. It would be only available when you access the Dragon's Den in Blackthorn City, probably after you access the National Dex in another room that is unlocked. Yukari said that the game may incompatible to transfer it over to D/P/Pt because of the coding, but Nintendo would state to the public that since this Dragon evolution cannot thrive in the Sinnoh region's colder climate and can only live in the temperate climate of Johto/Kanto, and there is no way to unlock that evolution on D/P/Pt. Of course there is the Gible family line, Bagon family line and Dratini family line that is available in D/P/Pt, so who knows.

They could do it. I'd be really happy if they did.

I thought this was announced? Or was that something else. Until then I'm happy with Shiny Gold/Silver ROM hack :D

Since they redid red and blue I see a gold and silver remake as very possibly. that would be so awesome! =D

I would buy it, Silver my favorite Pokemon game EVER.....I only hope they keep JUST those 250 Pokemon.

I hope they remake it b/c that was my GSC was my favorite series. but what would really be awesome if they would make a pokemon game where you start out in Kanto and you would get to go to all the regions. Sort of like they did in GSC but a little different
