Yeah, seriously, keep away from red-steel. All the other games are worth a buy, or at least a rent. Red steel will waste your money for a rental I feel... I was one of the unlucky bastards to buy it before everyone started saying... "This game is NOT awesome... it SUCKS..." However when it first came out everyone was like. "OMG YAY!" So yeah. Dont make the same mistake I did... :(

I second (third?) this comment.  My girlfriend bought Red Steel, and traded it back into Gamestop a week later.  Worst FPS I've ever played -- I'm surprised they're even making a Red Steel 2.  I mean, obviously it won't suffer from launch-itis like the first, but why doesn't Ubisoft make a different title?  Just the name is going to drag down sales of a Red Steel sequel, even if it turns out to be good.

I've never seen a game twisting gamers opinions like that before. I really liked Red Steel. Sure it had launchitis, but it was good. And BTW, Red Steel is a million seller WW.

I would just like to tell you to avoid the first wave of 3rd party titles like the plague. RE4 and Scarface are the only good ports I can think of. Minigame collections can be good if done right (Rayman,Wario Ware), just ignore them if they have a $50 price tag. The good stuff on the Wii is coming soon, until them there is a lot of great GC titles and some VC games to play.

It's not just RE4 and Scarface. SSX Blur, Sonic, Godfather, Elebits, and DragonballZ are good games...

Ahem.  Farcry: Vengence.   That's also a game that's just outright horrible.  Ubisoft didn't try.

I must admit Mario Strikers is really great though.  It brings back a very oldschool style of soccer videogames.  Back when they were actually fun.  Plus mixes in some mario kart mania.  Most of the negative reviews on it have been complaints about it not being like real soccer or a real deep immersive expierence.  Which... I mean what?  Mario Strikers is supposed to have a Franchise mode?  Or not have a bunch of items and stuff?

The styling of the characters and the music is amusing too.  It seems kinda Animeish in it's presentation of megastrikes which is just amusing.

For the record, I've played the Wii, as my old roommates had one. I've also played Red Steel and am well versed in it's suck factor. In single player, it's exceptionally high, though oddly multi didn't play too badly.

The reason I am reposting, aside from a thanks, and I'll look into the craigslist, is to tell Montana Boo for not liking Baten Kaitos 1/2. Of course, it's his choice, but take away the voice acting and that game was easily a 9 in my opinion. Take away the excessive luck factor, 9.2. Oh 10 point scale, how worthless you are.

Too bad it sold poorly and likely won't get a third game.

See Ya George.

At least following a comedians own jokes makes his death easier.

Gotta buy in this order

Zelda
Resident Evil 4
Godfather
Super Paper Mario
Excite Truck

Then you know the other good games that are coming out...
