Well I always thought that this would be a turn based version of IU, so I don't expect anything BIG about this :P

I hope you mean "will be great". You can't just lose hope for the game just because Edge says so. I had the same worry about Lost Odyssey when IGN said that it suffered from serious technical issues and said that it was basically a PS2 game running in HD. That was not from the review, it was from the IGN hands-on that was out around the time LO was released in Japan. However, I played the game and I can honestly say that LO is better than what that hands-on might indicate.

i may be in a minority here.............but i highly doubt ff13 and ff13v will end up as aaa games on aggregated score tables which im totally against anyway..........western style rpgs will always rule the roast when it comes to scoring

A numbered FF game not getting AAA average?  That's crazy.

 

@riachu.................1st let me tell u my opinion on what aaa is imo...............aaa is a major game released, thats sells well and is enjoyed by gamers and thats all that matters.............so going off that ff13 will be aaa for gamers...............but aggregated review scored many which will be fanboy review driven will not aggregate higher than a major western style rpg

i have last remnant and enjoy it a lot so far. sure it has the technical problems but i also installed to my hdd it helped drop load times by half and helped lessen the pop in. as for the story i'm loving it so far and you do still level up characters by gaining new abilities stronger more powerful attacks etc. the battle system isn't very difficult but it is fun none the less. this is coming from a guy that has tales of vesperia and lost odyssey as the best in jrpg thus far this gen and valkryie chronicles as best srpg thus far this gen. in all honesty if you've been interested in the game at all up to the release get it its a worthwhile jrpg.

Beating LO and ToV(and I don't even have it yet) is a priority for me before I can even think of playing TLR

failed purchases lol ninja gaiden 2 don't be ridiculous that game kills. if you like brutal and challenging combat ninja gaiden rocks and the challenging bosses are awesome especially on the harder difficulties. story could have been fleshed out better but the action rocks. haze was definitely mediocre through and through nothing that exciting but again ninja gaiden 2 i have to give you a big lol on that one at least. if you don`t believe me about last remnant just rent it first at least experience the excellent story.

a lot of reviewers dumped on Lost Odyssey and it was fantastic
