Oh you think SONY Won't come back fighting? This Generation is good for them, they have learned their mistakes, they will not allow the same mistakes to happen again. SONY gonna start playing dirty. Mark my words.

Its not personal....its just business

         Intelligent post, and spot-on.  I could even expand on, or word it any better!  The PS3 is an amazing machine, but Sony's arrogance this Gen cost them in the long run.

You mean next time they won't price their product out of the market? Oh my now that's dirty fighting indeed.

A Japenese company can't take western gaming head-on. It's just not possible anymore.

If Sony ever mounts a comeback, it will look a lot like Wii.



PC + Wii owners unite.  Our last-gen dying platforms have access to nearly every 90+ rated game this gen.  Building a PC that visually outperforms PS360 is cheap and easy.    Oct 7th 2010 predictions (made Dec 17th '08)
PC: 10^9

No, Sony didn't get cocky or complacent. They've delivered everything they promised. They just got dumped for the American console and its 1 (at the time) great game.



My most anticipated games:  Whatever Hideo Kojima is going to do next, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Alan Wake, Wii Sports Resort.  Cave Story Wiiware.

No, Sony didn't get cocky or complacent. They've delivered everything they promised. They just got dumped for the American console ands its 1 (at the time) great game.

 

I almost think you're being sarcastic. As sarcastic as when you suggested Microsoft might buy Nintendo, even.

Microsoft simply did very well this gen, Sony didn't.

 

But you see,  ps3 is like a Ferrari in that only sells a few products, this way Sony gives users the absolute best gaming experience on the market, the best graphics and the best games, while the fords and hondas just putter along with "good enough" ports and second rate exclusives.

The Ferrari's gameplan doesn't work in the gaming industry. It's actually based upon marketshare, not looking cool while being expensive. While they sit in the corner looking cool, Sony will lose more 3rd party support and will have to forced to focus on 1st and 2nd party. Reaaaal smart thinking man. Benga has a point.

Go read my post in the So...being realistic...XBOX360 made Ps3 flop this year thread where I show that the Ps3's game lineup matched or exceeded all expectations this year while it was quite the reverse with the 360.
