However I far prefer technological advancement in games that breeds innovation and immersiveness. In 16 months of Wii ownership I am yet to feel like immersiveness has been enhanced by the Wiimote, and in many cases the opposite.

In contrast, the depth and attention to detail in games like Mass Effect, Bioshock and Fable 2, all technically impossible on the Wii in their current form, have brought me a level of immersion that is astounding.

As another Wii60 owner... Those are surely good games, but in terms of immersion nothing has come close to Metroid Prime 3 and its fantastic controls.

I tried to find that game for months.  It bombed here and noone stocked more of it

Couldn't get a used copy for less than full price it was so rare.

I think I saw some new stock just last week though.  Still full price because of the rarity, but I may pick it up when my exams are over.

That and SSBB are the only two Wii games I haven't played but want too (excluding VC and WW).

People shouldnt take too seriously i mean a gamer should be happy that both console sells good with great games to come no matter which console u own.

The only thing I care about is both PS3 and 360 keep getting the majority of the 3rd party big titles..it doesn´t matter if one beats the other by 20/30K weekly....like starcraft said, most devs view the PS3 and the 360 as one platform.

As for the Wii, I bought mine for Nintendo´s 1st party offerings, and they´ve pretty good so far, as far as I´m concerned...thing is, the Wii is too different and peculiar to behave like a typical market leader....I´ve said this before, but for the better or worse (depending on your view of things), one of the peculiarities is that the Wii is the first market leader that isn´t getting the majority of the 3rd party big titles...unlike the NES, SNES, PS1 and PS2.

So, yeah, this is a very strange generation.

Its an odd one as i thought PS3 would be a couple of thousand ahead of the 360 this week but i forgot that LBP wasnt out here (UK) untill yesterday (or monday) as i had imported it. Will it impact on sales? i hope so as it is a lot of fun.
