@nexzen: I guess you don't really know what you are talking about. There's a lot of upcoming 3rd party games for the Wii. Please research a bit before performing a bad trolling attempt.

@Rol: PS3 will win this gen, Wii is a fad! (Quote me I dare you)
But if Nintendo actually surprised me with a game, I won't be pissed anymore. The truth is that they released their 09 calendar and the only game coming up until June 09 is Wii Sports Resort. There's no other way around it.

why not use a wiimote to cut yourself, probably more funner than any of the games on that system.

Would you be willing to take a one week ban for every game in addition to Wii Sports Resort that Nintendo publishes in the first half of 2009? Are you that certain that WSR will be their only game in that timeframe?

well im willing to bet that none of the wii games released on the first half of 2009 will come close to killzone 2 or resident evil 5, they could publish w/e they want doesn't mean it will be good.

Silly kid. Wiimotes cost $40! Plus, there are no sharp edges, so I'd probably just get skin burn.

 

P.S. "Funner" isn't actually a word, and even if it was, it wouldn't be used with an adjective (redundancy).

 

@Rol/trestres: Ban bets are no-no's now. Why not up the ante a bit, and wager VC/WiiWare games instead? One $5 for each game that releases in that time period, with a suitable lump sum after the cutoff date for trestres if he's right?

Nintendo games for the Wii in 09

Gamecube ports: Pikmin and Mario Tennis TBA (I dunno if I would count those as they have already been released)

Punch Out: First Half of CY 09, I'm taking my chances here, since 1st half ends in July 1st 09, so I'm betting it'll get released in June 09 :)

S&P 2: 2009 listed, meaning it's probably their Christmas hit.

Wii Sports Resort: Spring 2009, could be coming in June 09 as well, so I'll risk myself.
