Forums - Gaming Discussion - A day at the farmers market

I was at my girlfriends house for the weekend and she took me to the local farmers market. We walked around for a bit and I asked her why we exactly were we here. She told me "just follow me and I'll show you."

We walked for a bit longer and then entered a building. My jaw then dropped. It was a booth with a bunch of old video games and consoles and they were dirt cheap. I picked up a Sega Genesis with power cables, AV cables, and a controller for $15. He also let me pick out two games for it. I also picked up Conkers Bad Fur Day for $20 and Parasite Eve for $10. I ran out of money though, but, next time I go back, I'm going to get the Sega Saturn I saw there for I think $20 and maybe a 32x for $5.

Question though, is Parasite Eve a good game? I never played it before but the name ringed a bell and I think I've heard good remarks about it from my friends. It was also in great condition.

It was called "The Green Dragon Farmers Market." It's in Lancaster, PA.

I didn't get a chance to look at the Sega games but the SNES and N64 were rather "meh". There were some interesting NES titles though.

You're very lucky to find all that for those low prices. I LOVE retro systems, especially if they had lots of good games released for them and sold badly, like the Saturn.
