I'm going to rent it first to make sure, but this shot up from not interested at all to freaking psyched in a matter of a week, and I am not much of a fan of FPSes. The funny thing is, I can't for the life of me remember what features I heard about that made me want this game so bad. Can somebody run down the game's features so I can remember what got my attention?

Just reading my post makes me feel like am getting too many shooters [and shooter based experience games].....

 

all of those games you mentioned are fairly linear and with a focus on multiplayer

whereas FC2 is more of a sandbox, single-player experiance, so I guess that's the justification

besides, ubisoft has claimed 100+ hours of gameplay and it's gotten some pretty kick-ass reviews

 

Resistance Online seem pretty huge...
Bioshock?? Dead Space???
Their Third Party... FF13 is a confirmed ps3 exclu...... oh Right.....
I can get 100+ Hours in an online game....... Like Resistance.... or Killzone....

I'm getting it. Already have the limited edition pre-ordered, picking it up day 1. (360 by the way).
