Improvements are caused by people who complain
The problem is on of CREATIVE CONTROL! This was the case with comics, and it wasn't until Marvel gain a measure of more influence in the process and DC was bought, that we could expect better quality. Maybe M$ with Halo or Blizzard with WoW will be able to crack the code...Resident Evil wasn't bad...but that's been it!

Well it all depends on taste I guess. I've never seen Mario Bros movie but Street Fighter was better in my opinion.
Atleast it had a coherent story, couple of funny parts (Zangief saying "Quick, change the channel") and JCVD who to me is allways hillarious.
Mind you both are terrible, but if you were to force me to watch one of these again, I could sit through Street Fighter...where I'd kill myself if it was max payne.

Yeah her, in real life her name is Olga... She looked mint in my opinion. LOL at nelly furtado...all of us started laughing when she started crying on the screen...which was followed up by Ludacris coming out of a car.

CGI doesn't help. Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within was all CGI and it was a piece of shit. It almost put then bankrupt and they had to merge with Enix after that. I never played a Squaresoft game that was as good as what they made before after that.

Yea LOL, that really took me out of the movie feel for a little bit. I can't lie, I like Ludacris in most movies he's in, and he didn't do a bad job in this one, but he was a bad pick for Jim Bravura. You know, that old white guy from the game, he's played, by a young black guy LOL, talk about the opposite.

Spirits within had nothing to do with Final Fantasy and you know it. It was Advent Children that turned out great and suck to the characters point of view. With CGI developers and publishers can put their two cents right down to the marker of how they want the computer generated model to act, they don't need humans for this type of role physically....just their voices.
This is surprising..I was going to go see the movie next Thursday. The movie looked bad ass in the trailers and in the commercials and I liked the soundtrack they were touting in the trailers and commercials. Maybe we are seeing two different views.
The action looks intense from the trailer I saw. And idk...I might just go see it. It's only $10.
