I know how important is Kojima, but everything has its price even Kojima's wishes, plus Konami knows that they can make more money, and they own the IP.

Even if it's going to be released we will hear it at e3 probably. It would kinda be strange since metal gear solid is featured in Little Big Planet.

I really doubt itll happen and IF THey announce it at E3 2009 ( Lol still pretty long time left ) It cant be done until early 2010 id say... i seriously doubt Konami / Kojima will go threw this again.

O and how you get around the 3-4 disc problem.. simple remove all the BS hour long movies (yes movies not cutseens) and cut them down to 2min max. That should remove a couple gigs of info.

I was thinking about this last night. We all know Bioshock was on the 360. Then after about a year its now comming for the PS3 right? My bet is MS payed to have a year or so non discripive exclusive that they could never talk about. Same thing with MGS4 might have happened. So Sony gets the game for a year and they have to keep quiet about it till the year is up.

We did actually know before one year that bioshock was coming to the PS3.

Only thing Konami has said is that they are LOOKING into doing one. I bet they even looked into doing one for the wii lol.. ( Just sayin' )

The fact that they said on that January 1st 2008 that there WILL be a ps3 exclusive. I think they would keep it that way. Based on what happend with MGS3. ( Same thing ). So yes i am aware its 1st January, and if it was to be announced it would be in like E3 2008 - TGS now that it havent it might be in E3 2009 that would mean the game would actually finish 2010 for Xbox. Konami has never worked back, they even made substance on the Xbox they didnt redo Sons of liberty but they made Substance.

And then we got ( for the 100th time ) :

1) Blu-Ray PS3 joke while playing
2) PS1 joke with ocntroller + memory card
3) The 'this is only exclusive on the ps3 system' while installing.
4) The rumors about the game beeing big (Sure you can cut it down, But why after Substance failed? Even though some people from PS2 has got a Xbox and would die to get MGS4, I still don't think the sales will be dramatic.. )

6) So if it went to Xbox, when we install the game it says : This game is exclusive on the PS3 system. But thats a lie? xO :D Doubt it.

Above 1st January CONFIRMED they were not going to make one, ''Looking'' to do one is a really diffrence. Im sure Microsoft ''looked'' into giving PS3 Halo for $$$$$$ XD. Atleast for about 2 seconds.

2008 Is almost over and no announcement so that aint fairly close to Bioshock.

The first MGS came to PS1, i do belive they intend to make the last on the PS system as well.

Konami would never work backwards & redo everything when the game was specially made for PS3.
