I was playing my PS3 today, and what a revelation I had! Who cares about the quality of my games when I have the Cell processor! It pushes the graphics beyond anything any console has ever done, and it's more powerful than any PC processor! I love my processor so much, and the possibilities are endless! Too bad all my friends are gone playing Wii games and having fun...but just wait til they learn about the Cell processor! I'm sure they'd love to hear about its awesome power! Who needs games when we can talk about the Cell!

It appears you're overreacting a bit. Yes, I might be a bit of a geek. I game, but I also enjoy talking about various aspects of technology and computer science. If it bothers you, start a thread about your current favorite game. Join another thread talking about game sales, graphics, gameplay, whatever. I'm certainly well over all the threads proclaiming their favorite console to be the best or winner, or slamming opposing consoles. I don't even care to argue about that. Sales figures and technical details are interesting, but the rest is easy enough to ignore. Try it.

you're fine. it's ok to talk about the cell and the technological aspects to gaming...it certainly is one important aspect to each console...but I'm sick of certain fanboys praising it without knowing anything about it, and acting like the Cell = God.
