Do you all think it's right for children to be on leashes? Ok , please let me get this straight, some parents think that their little kids are so out of control that they need to be put on leashes like dogs? How did it get to that in the first place? You wanna tell me that those parents can't just simply hold on to their kids' hands?

I know they try to say the kids run away, or they might get kidnapped....WHAT??? If you know how to take care of your children, it should never come to that. If you're keeping a close eye on them, I mean a VERY close eye on your children, how will they run away or get kidnapped?

I saw a little 3 yr old boy being dragged on the ground by the mother because she let the boy walk behind her instead of in front like it should be, either she had no idea or she was punishing the kid. Either way the whole concept is just wrong, ON SO MANY LEVELS.

To me I feel like those people wished so hard for dogs, but instead got kids????

I put my first one on a leash - and within 30 seconds he was out and pulling me. I promptly tossed it into the first bin I saw.

Well, as a father of 3 kids who dearly love them and would like to think that I do my absolute best at all times. You must realize that reality is you are not staring at them 100% of the time and kids can be easily sidetracked.

I wouldn't put my kids in a leash, although sometimes i do feel like putting them. You just need to teach them to hold the hand/stroller/shopping kart or to walk nicely on your side.

I wouldn't say it is common. It isn't exactly the rarest of things either. I've seen it about 5 times in my life. It makes me sick to my stomach to witness.
