Forums - Gaming Discussion - What next gen console will you buy?

Nintendo is more probably but I am not sure. I was decided to buy a xbox360 this gen but I changed my mind.

I always chose by company philsophy. What's important to the company and what I value in the company. I chose gameplay and quality in that direciton. I also value price, family and friends and importantly new gaming experienes to a jaded gamer. Nintendo generally provides that. Though if either other company does this better than Nintendo then I will buy them. Providing price is reasonable.

So I'm going to lean based on this gen
Nintendo
Sony
MS

Nintendo and Microsoft.
sony?? never

Based on this gen?

Nintendo/Microsoft 1st and 2nd (whichever comes first).

MAYBE Sony if it's cheap enough and has the right games.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

only 360 left but again i think i will will skip it again

A Wii with much larger 3rd party support backing it would seal the deal for me.. HD graphics and a decent sized on board memory solution would be nice too

I'll likely skip next generation consoles and just go portable like I did last generation.
My GB, SG, SNES, DS, Wii, and PC should be more than enough. Actually, new Wii games should come out until 2013 or so and then it will take a couple years for me to get caught up on old games so I should be good until 2015 or so. Maybe the PSP2 will be reasonably priced and I'll pick one up :)

Really, I don't know as I'll have to see what the companies come up with. If Wii 2 has todays high end PC graphics and costs $250 in 2013, I might just pick it up. Likewise, if Blu-ray really is the standard by 2013 and the PS4 only costs $100 more than a regular Blu-ray player, that'll be a good buy.

Nintendo one

I will wait in line for Msft's next console like I did for the 360 and the original Xbox.
