I've also noticed some of them bashing GoW2's graphics while defending RFoM2's and their main defence is that RFoM2 is a "work in progress". Well get a damn clue Sony fanboys, GoW2 is a work in progress as well.

Also it's funny that many Playstation fans derided the Xbox1 as a "shooter box" last gen and are now playing up shooters. It doesn't matter though since the 360 will have games like Left 4 Dead and Gears of War 2 (which are at least different than the cookie cutter RFoM2 and Killzone 2) which will make 360 gamers very happy.

 


God I hate statements like this.

YES, they compared the 2 games before the release

but, at the end, R1 was clearly inferior to GoW1 in term of review (and sales)

But now, people are comparing the 2 sequels and saying they are similar despite Resistance being an "inferior" IP compared to GoW

 

Once again, before release.

 

yes, BUT here, the comparaison is pushing resistance2 over gow2

Well Ted Price said in an interview that you would be able to tell Resistance 2 was a third generation PS3 game because of its stunning graphics. Then I look at videos of R2 and think, its good but not that impressive. So hopefully the latest build is fairly big improvement.

well, although iam not a ps3 fanboy..but tbh i have to say that R2 looks much better than R1 in every aspect so yes te game did improve alot..i have played gears 2 since i have a modded 360 and to tell you the truth every thing cliffyB
said (bigger,better,more bad ass) was totally BS. the game is too short
even shorter than the first one so its not bigger. they added few stuff like finishing moves and bla bla bla which i dont care about so its not better.
the graphics are the same, same animations same art style every thin is the same..just different missions story is lame and the ending is worse..i didnt like it at all..after this all hype i wont give it 6 out of 10 ,,gears 1 rised the bar in every single aspect..and after 2 years of working gears 2 had to do the same thing but it failed..bad bad game
