Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

I need a new psp a new ds a new job......

This is a slap in the face because Monster Hunter moved to the wii so its a big tease. What if you connected the psp to a tv and the ps3 at the same time would it work.

 I'm going to have to call you on this one, I have complete 2 of those 3 games :)

I'm not really into FF Tactics though.

There really haven't been many big games for the PSP since god knows when, I know SE 1\2 will be good but they aren't exactly "new" games.

I'm not really into FF Tactics though.

There really haven't been many big games for the PSP since god knows when, I know SE 12 will be good but they aren't exactly "new" games.

Maybe there is an online patch for the game for the PSP, and for those that don't have wi-fi they can do this? Cause if it's only for PSP and PS3 owners out there, there's not too many people that will be able to utilize this.

 

My guess is Sony is trying to let MHP2 fans buy a PS3. Some people will actually be crazy enough to do so!
