I wish they'd announced the game already!!! :( SE are so freaking slow. At the beginning of the year I had high hopes for it to be announced at TGS but it doesn't look like it will happen...GAH! :(

 

 I don't get why you'd want it to be announced soon. Even if it was announced it wouldn't be released until atleast 5-6 years from now(it'll take atleast another 1-2 for FFVSXIII and then 3-4 years for them to finish KHIII)

Apparently you have never heard of Hideo Kojima. When a game's director gets to the status of GOD he pretty much gets what he wants or he will just leave. Other wise you get the issue Tecmo is having now with the SE takeover and that wierd guy leaving them. Kojima said "NO" to 360, so no MGS4 for 360, end of story.After Kingdom Hearts Tetsuya has been hailed as such, you know why? Because KH is the second best selling title that has ever come from SE besides a FF game. None of their other games rake in as much money as these 2. This would also explain FFXIII defection as they would need a heap of a lot more funds to create this as well (still dont believe in Multiplat more profits tho).

You do not understand the power of a great director as well as the main FF artist in the series.

Well its not Nomura's ip. All of the rights with the exception of Final Fantasy characters are owned by disney.

then how come he decides where FF versus goes to then?

Say what? No he doesn't. Say Kojima left Konami for example, Konami would have full control over the IPs. The reason MGS4 is PS3 exclusive is because Konami as a whole believe it can't be done on the 360.

Let's not get into this argument, shall we?

 

 Square Enix also own part of the IP. it's more of a shared IP than it belonging to one company.

Well its not Nomura's ip. All of the rights with the exception of Final Fantasy characters are owned by disney.

 
There's more facts that its heading to the PS3 than Wii.
