I for one welcome new xbots to the site, no matter how dumb their posts. The xbot inferiority complex has always fascinated me.

 No, you are claiming the $50 is mandatory, even if you did hedge the comment to specify online.

 The fact remains that the 360 has optional pricing, while the PS3 offers fewer choices.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

free online gaming on PS3...still waiting for the games though


Tekken: Dark Resurrection, MK II (With online), Calling All Cars, Super Stardust HD as good or better than any downloadable games on 360.

If you mean retail games, then if you are an early adopter you should have known the games will take time to come (just like with the 360 at launch).


you don't  spend 600$ to play Tekken:Dark Resurrection...I know it takes time to build a good line-up of games but you can't use it as an excuse during holiday time when you'll need to sell consoles: the market won't be waiting forever...

.... all I can say is BS. Michael Perry is an IDIOT and horrible "pro" gamer. I've owned his ars so many times. He banned be off the team3d server due to me being better then him. He is immature and if you question him he will do nothing but curse you out. Dont listen to the FUD he put there. Half of it is off the official "Understanding the Cell BE" Guide and its all twisted. Also there is no official benchmark tools to get any of his benchmarks. Even running a benchmark tool through Linux wont work due to Linux being limited on the PS3 to 350mhz. He stole almost 80% of what he stated from user guides posted on the PS3 forums, Xbox forums, Team Xbox, official PS Forums, and even some from PDFs from IBM.

Not Impressed.

Real Break Down:
PS3 CPU > 360 CPU
360 GPU > PS3 GPU
PS3 Ram Speed > 360 Ram Speed
360 Ram use > PS3 Ram use

Overall:
PS3 > 360 but only if both consoles are being coded by the good dev teams (Bungie, Square, Polypony, Insomniac, Incognito.)

 

 

Also on the in-order and out-of-order processing. In-Order processors could easily be stronger if software was coded to work In-Order like the Mac OS.
