Anyone know the worst selling video game on a sucessful console?

I say sucessful because saying the entire CD-I library did not sell is a cheap answer.

It's almost impossible to tell. There are hundreds of videogames that saw limited releases and or quickly sank off store shelves.

I heard once that there was a GCN game that sold less than a 100 copies. I think it was Cubivore

Wrong. I saw some NPD data on Cubivore a few years ago, and it sold something like 10k for sure. The game was moderately successful in Japan, selling 100k if I'm not mistaken.

Problem is if it sold so bad no one remembers it or bought it so its hard to come up with one

Actually, I'll venture to say the worst selling game ever made was Echo Delta for the N64 at one single copy.

The game recently sold on Ebay for 1,100 dollars. The game never saw completion and the sale was for a 90% complete version.

Sold so poorly, it nearly killed the industry. Now tonnes of dirt cover that bit of gaming history up for us. Amen.

ET sold a lot of copies Nightstriker. Just not nearly as many as was expected (and a lot of copies were returned)

Granted, it did actually sell 1.5 million back in the day. But like you said, many were returned, and 4 million copies were made. So less than 50% sale rate.

Guess its not the worst afterall.
