I suppose someone could observe how people who don't like the Wii spend so much time pointing this out instead of playing something apparently better...

 

Oddly enough my girlfriend plays Wii Fit at her friends house, and they typically play a lot of 'games' on Wii Fit.

I'm not sure how that constitutes 'looking at the console'.

Either Pristine intended it as a joke, or is blatantly misconceived. Even I have fun with the hoolas, marble boardgames which takes some thought... I haven't played it in a while. The point is, people play games on it... it's not like there are no games in Wii Fit. To presume there are not, yet having never tried it, is a crime against facts when preaching so much knowledge about to be supposedly credible.

 

This is like stating that XBox Live doesn't have any 'real' games, just cheapos that people think are games.



Numbers: Checker Players > Halo Players

Checkers Age and replayability > Halo Age and replayability

Therefore, Checkers > Halo

So, Checkers is a better game than Halo.

@Pristine: As some already stated, this is sales related site and other people are working too (or browsing the web during work hours).

Besides, this topic isn't just about "how Wii Fit have sold". I find special interest to Wii Fit, saleswise, because of how much it was hated when introduced last year and since it comes with a peripheral it's really expensive (even more if you buy Wii just to play Wii Fit). High sales in the beginning could have indicated Wii Fit being a fad, but it really has strong legs and apparently will keep going for a long time.
And since this site is about sales, it's really interesting to see how much Wii Fit has sold in relation to "hardcore" titles, should give an indication what the market is about (and have always been).

Actually it's funnier to see some PS360 fans like you spending more time trolling the Nintendo section and less and less time doing any gaming on their better console.
