To me, this is the most intriguing title this year sales-wise. Also really curious to see how this does in Japan (it is being released there, right?), and whether it can stimulate the PS3 hardware market there.
The biggest issue I think Sony have for this: LBP is very much a "casual" title (i.e. anyone can play/enjoy it), but the PS3 is still not even close to a "casual" price - esp. if the 360 price drops in the US this year (and Sony don't follow).
If/when I get a PS3, I will almost certainly get LBP - but LBP on its own is not enough to make me buy a PS3 (which is still damned pricey here in Australia - $700AU - considering today I get a 360 + games for around $250).
That said, I do know a few people here who intend to get a PS3 because of LBP - so it will certainly help.
