If you really want to make your X360 cool....Use a wire rack of some sort, to set your X360 on (if your like me and swear by putting the console horizontal)...That way, it gets max ventilation.

i have it horizontaly on top of a shelf. i placed 4 small erasers under so that here would be room underneath.
