I'll find this game to be somewhat interesting when it is released.From what im seeing this game looks kind of overshadowed by the other PS3 exclusives(Resistance 2,LBP,ect.).and while the success of the first is great (3.37 mil.), i cant help but wonder,just how much of those sales are contributed from the bundles,and just how much of those bundles were bought by people who didnt care for the first Motorstorm,and dont care for the sequel?i personally think alot.and i think pacific rift will show this.

my predictions:

first week: 325 - 400k

Lifetime:1.75 mil. - 2.25 mil.

your thoughts?

*EDIT* My predictions are assuming the game ISNT bundled

Those numbers you quote are suspect. They include bundled numbers for Motorstorm - a lot of 80gb PS3s flew off the shelves with Motorstorm. It's a good game, but bundling really helped it.

If it's not bundled, I'm not sure. If it's bundled, it will sell.

Motorstorm won't sell well. It's no longer a glorified attachment rate. Watch the sales from the last game go in a downward spiral. You'll be surprised what you'll find.

my prediction was based off assuming its not bundled.and im very much aware a good majority of Motorms sales were bundled.hence my lower prediction than sales of the first.

A lot of people own the first one now and it's basically the only new racing game in the holiday season. I think it may surprise people when it becomes one of the PS3's higher selling games this holiday season.

Leave the real stand alone racing sales for GT. The bundled game sales was a joke.

The game sold 1.61 million in Others alone, and it wasn't bundled there. GT5 won't release till late 2009, early 2010, I doubt people will be willing will avoid racing games till that point.
