I'm not the biggest Anime fan. But one anime film which I absolutely loved was Millenium Actress. It was just such a strong film, it pulled me in completely.

Also, since I'm among you sick twisted geeks, I wonder if you could help me name a another anime film I like.
The story is about a machine designed to care for an old man. But it also turns out to be designed with military purposes in mind, and takes off rampaging through the streets with the old man inside, all the while developing an intelligence based on the man's wife. I guess it sounds really stupid when I explain it, but it was quite a good film.

Thanks sick twisted geeks!

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Gaaaah I forgot about Chobits! It was so touching, cute and funny... I loved Chii!

Around the Network

Death Note
One Piece

I'm not a big anime person, but I've seen some as they went across Cartoon Network, and I've watched some on my own too.

My top 5 I guess are:

Rurouni Kenshin - This was basically the first anime I watched on a regular basis, and it still sticks to me now...it was very good.

Trigun - I saw a few episodes a long time ago, then watched them all a few years ago...it was very cool. The main character Vash was just amazing.

Samurai Champloo - I dunno...it was just cool.

Death Note - Amazing! I didn't read the manga or anything...I don't really read manga...but the anime was so well thought-out and put together...it got me and a fair number of non-anime-watching friends hooked.

Cowboy Bebop - I absolutely love this series. I can watch it anytime...I love it.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Roujin Z? Man, I haven't seen that for awhile and it took me a little while to remember the name. Actually, I had to consult with my brother, but we got it.

Ones I like? Plenty. Not all all the time, but ones I like or did enjoy at some point. As for why, I'll try to get around to that a little later as well as perhaps a few additions if I think of or see them.

In no particular order,

Yu Yu Hakusho (Need to watch more)

Full Metal Alchemist

Naruto

Bleach

Robotech (Go oldschool, first anime I remember watching)

Evangelion (New movies are coming for those who care)

Dragon Ball Z

Dragon Ball

Sailor Moon

Chobits

Rourouni Kenshin

Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Tenchi Muyo (Second show watched)

Cowboy Bebop

Trigun

Gundam Wing (Not saying others aren't good just the only one I've seen)

Ikkitousen (I know the first season is largely fan service, but I really found the second season's end. . .interesting)

Mai Hime

Mai Otome

Berserk

BoogiePop (Not for everyone, but I had to watch it after seeing an amv)

Fruits Basket

Full Metal Panic

Futakoi Alternative

Girl Meets Girl

Kodomo no Omocha (As far as I've seen at least)

Love Hina

I never really am much of a manga person. Still isn't, IMO. I was introduced Death Note and it got me hooked. For a few weeks anyways. Now, I am stuck on following One Piece. Tried a few other but can't really get into manga in general.

Death Note is really well thought. It keeps you in and want to know what is going to happen next. It's a pity the L die. I like him.

One Piece is definitely good. Funny. Fantasy. Friendship. Adventure. I think friendship is shown well here. One will sacrifice for another in the name of friendship. Can you look around you and find someone that's willing to die for you?

I haven't watched anime in like a year and a half. Like once a moth I see a thread like this and think I should pick it up again. So if any of you know any intresting new anime out there tell me and I will give it a try and maybe get into anime agian.

Series I was watching/ reading around the time I stoped

Black logoon (anime)

Death note (manga) I noticed there is an anime about it now.

GTO(manga)

and Nana (anime)

Series I realy liked

Full Metal Alchemist (anime)
Death note (manga)
Kanon (anime
Air (anime)
Berserk (manga)
