Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Did any sense of "patriotism" play a role in you buying an Xbox 360?

I live in Canada so...

There's not much of anything you can buy out of patriotism in America. 99% of everything here is either made in China or Mexico, lol.

PSN: Lone_Canis_Lupus

No. Why would it? Up until the 360 I've never even had US created console, besides a PC. And i've went through alot of different consoles.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

lol, no, I traded for mine.

That said, there is nothing wrong with buying American, assuming MS actually makes these consoles in America...which I don't think they do....so I only recommend buying a 360 out of taste.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

I drive American cars... yes, I chose 360 over PS3 partially for patriatism, though it was a small factor. About as big of a factor as "who has better acrade games to download"

No, all these systems are made in Asia just like everything else these days.

Does patriotism influence your decision in buying American cars?
