Then the Wii becuase it has 8bit style graphics on 75% of it's games.

Sigh.

I can't believe I'm giving this post any kind of attention, but there have been so many others like it from other users, as well.

This is 8-bit-style graphics, also known as "decades-old technology":

This is a Wii game:

Any questions?

Look, not even John Lucas would debate that the Wii has inferior graphics to the 360 and PS3, so get over it already instead of taking every cheap shot you can.

Ok, ok. More like 64bit.

Sorry, but posting pictures of a yet-to-be-released game dont cut it for me.

Here's something from the PS3 yet'to'be'released.

Wake me up when you get the point.

ssj12: What in the world do you DO with that PC??? total benchmarking purposes?
jesus I would never spend that much money on a PC build knowing that the value of a $5000 PC would become $2000 within a year. Seems like you have too much money ;)

crappy old school NES games are more entertaining than next-gen games.

Oh come on guys, do not speculate, but bring up the real loading times! :)

Oh yeah post a picture from a fake CGI tailer as in game graphics.

SSJ12:
Are you running Vista 64 otherwise you wasted your money on 8 Gigs of ram as vista 32 cannot recognize 8gigs of RAM or even 4 gigs of RAM because of bios memory and video card memory and since you claim to have 2 8800 graphics card running in SLI that is at least 750 megs of memory or 1.5 gigs of memory there meaning your computer can only recognize 3.25 gigs - BIOS memory - Virtual memory(if you haven't turned it off which you should) but is on average 750MB)=roughly anywhere from 3.2GB to 2.75 GB of physical RAM. IF you stated that you were running Windows 2003 enterprise edition I might believe you. However owning a vista machine with over 4 GB of memory I know you are lieing or that you wasted your money on unused memory. While OS X can recognize more than 4 gigs you said vista.

You also managed to OC a Xeon faster than it has ever been OC before and I have not read about that on an Overclocker board BTW why not get a 7140n. So either you are a god of a modder or a liar and miracilously do not promote your work.

Before you jump on me I know the QX6700 is a core 2 but I have not seen evidence of that core being pushed passed 4.2 gigs. So if you got it to 5.7 what voltage did you use?

redspear, I think "PC 100000" was a dead giveaway.

ssj12, you suggest people aren't buying PS3s because they don't know how to save their money.  I would argue that people who do know how to save their money aren't buying PS3s.  :P

thats also why I bought the PS3 at launch. I know how to save my money to buy expensive things. This is why the PS3 really isnt selling due to people inability to understand how to save 20% of their paychecks in the bank.

What!!!!!

So anyone that hasn't bought a PS3 and wants one, doesn't know how to save?

What a ridiculous thing to say.  People "in the real world" generally cannot come up with $599.  You state saving up for a PS3....well if you've not got other more important things to do with your money like pay a mortgage or actually have a life, then you could probably quite easily save up for a $599 machine...no bother.

The bottom line is this....most people reckon the PS3 just isn't worth spending $599 on at the moment...there isn't enough games....and for a past time...$599 is pretty much a huge luxury in most households.

Prediction (June 12th 2017)

Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.

PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)

PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)

why would anyone get a vista 32? It seam like a strange question to ask. The why I see it, the real enhancement of vista over xp was the whole jump to 64

Yeah thats was funny. Comparing the ingame Wii graphics to a prerendered CG animation from Killzone. Not really a fair comparison. I grew tired of the what system was more powerful a long time ago. I had a Genesis and everyone that I knew had a SNES. I knew in my heart that the SNES had better graphics, and sound, but I argued the point that the Sega was better. I am not going to argue that the Wiis specs are anywhere near the 360 or the PS3, because thats goofy. What I will argue is that the PS2 and GC have some of the best games ever to grace a console and they still hold up. Look at the original Halo, Metroid Prime, God of War, Gran Tourismo, RE4. These games will still be played 10 years from now, where COD2 is going to be forgotten. As far as loading time goes, I can remember waiting 20 minutes to play TIE fighter and Doom 2 loading off of those little floppies. 10 seconds, 15 seconds? I wait 2 or 3 minutes to fire up Battlefield 2142 on my Pentium 4. While I wish it would load instantly it certainly does not detract from the enjoyment of the game. Bottom line is, if the game is good, you don't mind a short wait. What about all the PSP games. Some of them take a hell of a long time to load.
