This E3 properly justified the volume of hype that Little Big Planet had amassed since its startling debut at 2007?s Game Developers Conference. InFamous won best new trailer. They need to get that baby up on the PSN. It's SO badass, and we've gotten trailers for damn near every other game.

I see Valkryia Chronicles is getting some love in the upcoming ps3 games section. It also won IGN's best strategy game section. Maybe it'll sell somewhat decently in the US with the unexpected hype.

When I saw that their top 5 PS3 games were all exclusives compared to just 2 of the 360's, I thought that they must have realised which way the wind was blowing, but then I saw that their top E3 Strategy pick was Halo Wars. That wouldn't be a big problem if it didn't beat out Empire: Total War!

EMPIRE: TOTAL WAR!

No conventional RTS has ever come close to being as good as the Total War series, and now we are expected to believe that a Halo-themed console RTS from Ensemble(!) is going to be better than Empire??????

NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!

And how come Empire didn't make it into the top 5 PC games but Dawn of War 2 did!?!?!?!?! That's just fucking ridiculous!

Frankly, the only game on the PC list that has a hope in hell of being as good as Empire is Spore.

1up is a console biased website. They don't care about PC games, so they always try to make console games win the awards instead.

Anyone who thinks Halo Wars beats Empire: Total War or Dawn of War 2 is deluded or a fanboy. 1up have shown their true and ugly colors again.

lol, this is a pretty good list.

The major problem is this feature is kinda slim. It should have been a little bit more fleshed out, like the IGN recap.

Other than that, I didn't see my best in show(Fallout 3) anywhere, but I didn't look too deep either, lol. List all the awards next time, I am really lazy and would like to see if Fable 2 got a mention.

Also, what about Killzone 2. I saw a feature where someone said they hated it, and I think it was 1up. :P

I really don't think MAG is worth talking about yet, lol, but I understand why they gave it points based on intrigue.
