 Now that the wii sold 29.54 million units, did it outsell the Genesis/Mega Drive? I dunno the exact number that the genesis sold but its around 29 million...

well...just in case it did... WOHOOOO go wii N64 AND SNES are next !!!

Genisis sold over 40 mil. EDIT Yea sry I ment 30. Wikipedia says 29 but Im pretty sure its 30.

Genesis sold ~30 million so the Wii will surpass that in about 2-3 weeks.

Just searched the site and it seems Genesis sold 29 million. So pretty much, as of last week the Wii overtook Genesis if this information is correct.

The Genesis/Megadrive sold just short of 31 million if my sources are correct. Wii will pas it soon enough.

If the information on wikipedia is correct. Then the Wii outsold the Genesis.

Genesis last shipment figures from many years ago should equal the sold amount. Thus, based on above link:

Genesis = 30.75m

Wii will pass in a couple of weeks. :)
