No true. Most new games look better on the PS3. GTA4, COD4 (only slightly), Burnout Paradise... that or they look the same. Only recent multi-plat I can think of that looks better on the 360 is Vegas 2.

Also, a huge consideration is UT3. It does not look any better on the 360. In fact, in places it looks worse. That's the first time ever this gen a game came out later on one console, and does not look better then the first. Also, it's from Epic, so they know how to develop.

That said, FFXIII will not be stripped down on the 360. FFXIII does not take much computer to run. 

Kids kids, don't go jumping up just yet...E3 ain't done yet! If things stay the way they are tommorow...then...GG Sony. But, it's not over yet ;)


But it's sad really...that Ps3 owners love rpgs, and are getting owned big time...M$ has Mistwalkers AND Square now...

@ i love xbox 360- The main reason the 360 tends to have better multi-platform games than sony is because they are developed on the 360 first and then ported onto the PS3 which was and is a lot harder to do and which takes longer than specifically building it from the ground up on the ps3.

It will be interesting to see which version is better due to the fact that it was i developmnt on PS3 first and is being ported onto the 360. An examle of a better looking PS3 game is GTA IV.

There's no way Sony can counter this tomorrow. No amount of new footage from Resistance 2, Killzone 2, or Little Big Planet is worth a damn in the face of this bombshell.

Well done MS, I guess, although if SE want to make money, then surely the Wii would have been the console of choice to release it on....maybe it will be... as well.

Not really a concern though, I have a PS3 for more games the FFXIII (although a pulling factor) and it's still coming out on it. Just hope it's not too delayed because of this. I'd like 1 year after Japan like the other FFs, not 2 because they had to make the 360 version as well.

When the announcement was first handed out I was have a very big change in my opinion of PS3 vs 360 future.

Here's my views:

PRE-E3 - PS3 was on a steady march to pass 360 WW my mid-late 2009 on large surge with GT5 and FF13.

During MS conf. - PS3 might permanently stay in 3rd place since last major exclusive was going to 360 as well. This couple with already a one-sided jrpg lineup on the 360 might give it enough of a boost in Japan and elsewhere to keep PS3 in last place.

During SE conf. - PS3 is back to a steady march to 2nd place. Why? Japan FF13, which is by far more important than the other regions is still exclusive to PS3. Thus, the PS3 still will be far higher in sales than the 360 in Japan, marginally higher in Others, and will continue to creep up in NA. The NA difference will be far outweighed by the difference in Japan for Sony.

So, imo, though this is good news for MS and technically SE, it will have no major impact on the outcome of the generation.

PS3 will be 2nd place by the end of 2009.
