Forums - Sony Discussion - Gamespot gives MGS4 a 0 (zero) out of 10.

Today in Joystiq: June 17, 2008

Man, if peopled freaked out over their 8.8 Twilight Princess score, imagine what's going to happen when the internet catches wind of Metal Gear Solid 4's 0.0. (Note: The above did happen, but it was just a technical glitch. Please don't stick a stun knife in either us or Gamespot.) Check out the highlights for today:

LOL!  Just a technical glitch--I know they actually gave a 10/10, just thought that was pretty funny!

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

6 hours of gameplay and 9 hours of story resembling the "philosophical deepness" of Matrix 2 and 3 a ten?

Good lord, how gaming has fallen.

And deserved it! :D

Hmmm... if they really did give MGS4 a 0.0 (they couldn't but lets say they did) what would that do to MGS4's gametankings score? Send it down to about 70%? :/
Glad it was just a glitch.

I guess the "1" in front of the "0.0" got cut off in the graphic.

^^Nope, it was an actual technical glitch for a bit. The 0.0 is perfectly centred--unless someone is a Photoshop master with a ton of time on their hands?

^^ wouldnt need a master of photoshop to do that, all youd need to do is shorten lines, center things, no real reconstructing. But it was a glitch, no doubt about it.

My comment was sort of made tongue in cheek. I should have added a :P at the end of my comment.

The Matrix 2 and 3 didn't have philosophical depth.  They pulled that franchise into the depth.
