I've never played Motorstorm but from reviews of the game it seems like one of it's few problems was a lack of variety in the courses.  It looks like DiRT may not have that problem so it should be interesting to see how it compares when it comes out this month :)

Dirt was really fun on XBL market place. i personally like the gameplay and visuals in Motorstorm but Dirt has alot more value

The thread title is ill-conceived. Motorstorm is not by any measure a "Rally" game. DiRT is much more Rally-centric in focus. Motorstorm is a fun romp through rough terrain. Nothing against Motorstorm, but it simply ain't rally.

Regardless of 'rally title' motorstorm still looks alot better.

Controls, content, course design of DIRT should be at least on par with previous Colin McRae games, making it a great game just like the other installments of the series.

Dirt is a lot more sim ish and Motorstorm is a lot more arcade-y different kinds of games.
