Another glowing endorsement.

So, should I get MK Wii or Boom Blox first? Whaddaya think?

I would go Boom blox first, it´s so fracking(BSG quote) awesom and smartly done it´s just a must buy for most gamers in my opinion.

Boom Blox is addicting. I spent way too long on it last night, much to the chagrin of a certain Serbian immigrant

Games I am looking forward to:

PC: Diablo III, Fallout III, Stacraft 2, Spore, Empire: Total War, American McGee's Grimm

360: Madden 09, Fable 2, Left 4 Dead, Blood Bowl

“Go ask [Blizzard president] Rob Pardo if PC gaming is dead – if he can take the time out from making money hats, I’m sure he’ll give you a really eloquent explanation of why probably the most valuable entertainment franchise of the moment is PC-specific.” - Gabe Newell

How is the co-op multiplayer in the game? Some websites say its a bit uninspired compared to the single player. I'll probably buy it soon. Sooner if co-op is good =D.

I haven't tried co-op, but competitive is fun. If I'd only get my own levels to work properly...

I'll get it when its $20.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

For the guy saying "i can't spend 50 dollars on a puzzle game" I only ask why not?

The single player mode in this game will be longer than many action games (I've been playing 2 hours, and have only barely scratched the surface, (I doubt I'm even 10% of the way through it), the multiplayer as fun and deep as any other game's multiplayer. This isn't a tetris clone, or lumines with cute characters. This is an extremely deep, thought provoking, and time consuming game with incredible replay value since you can create or download new levels. I thought 50 dollars was steep too, but now that I have it I see that it is worth every penny. It's simply a huge and engaging game with lots of personality.

So anybody that's unsure about buying a puzzle game for full price, don't be. Unlike the sort of puzzle game we've gotten accustomed too that is just a rehashed old 2d puzzle game concept with some art work and techno music slapped on it, this is a fully realized awesome concept with a ton of content and fully fleshed out multiplayer mode. This is much bigger than peggle, lumines, puzzle quest, or book worm. This game has some heft.

$50 is too much for a puzzle game, you could buy Lumines, Puzzle Quest, Crush, Peggle, Echochrome or any other puzzle game combined for less than that price.

I picked this game up today and luckily I'm home sick (actually sick) so I've gotten a chance to play a little. I must say this game is just fun.

I swear, every time I get a game and say man, this is some of the most fun I've ever had playing a game something new like this comes along and raises my expectations even higher.

I know people like to complain that it's casual, it's only a puzzle game, it's too expensive, whatever-- this game is just fun. It's incredibly simple but you'll have a huge stupid smile on your face the whole time you're playing.

-edit-

And to everyone saying $50 is too expensive-- this game has more than 300 levels and very good multiplayer. Some levels will take you a minute or two but others can take I'm sure more than 10. Lets just say each of those levels takes an average of five minutes, that gives you a 25 hours single player experience. That's longer than Mass Effect without even taking into account multiplayer for people keeping count.

My friend really likes racing games, but BSG makes it hard to resist your recommendation. I can't wait to find out how the (SPOILER) mutiny turns out tonight.

We'll see if I can sell him on Blox over Kart or not.

I did forget to mention one gripe about the game: the game doesn't actually display at full screen.

This isn't a huge gripe but it is a little annoying to have that black border going all the way around the screen.
