Wow, you have guts posting a thread like this. GTA4 is the best game i've played in years, online and offline. Cops and Crooks held me over for 7 hours on the first night I got GTA and I was laughing the whole time. Having 3 ppl in my car and having our boss drive by on a dirt bike going 80mph and hitting a car head on while we drove by was just too much. The game is INCREDIBLE. Not to mention the single player that has me addicted. You are in the extreme minority if you don't like the game. But its ok, I thought Mario Galaxy wasn't that good either. And I know that i'm in the minority. But GTA4 is a legendary game that deserves all the acclaim its getting and more. Sure the graphics aren't the best, but given the size of the world, they are impressive. It is a complete package on both 360 and PS3. Game of the year easily.

How come this mod ssj12 is the only one who warned me about the psp comment?

I was hoping multiplayer would be multiplayer co-op, like the 2nd player was your right hand man who never had to be addressed by the story (so they didn't need to change the voice acting).

From what I hear, Saints Row 2 will have this: complete the entire storyline cooperatively, so I'm looking forward to that.

SSJ12 your wrong. Dual analog laughs at you.

Last PSP games I played Socom and Starwars battlefront2 have auto lock. Which IMO is uber lame.

 How does having dual analog have anything to do with also having auto-lock aiming? Have you played CoD4? (You did mention it in your first post)

 Maybe you should try to actually debate his arguments rather than just say "OmFg GTA roxors ma boxors!!".

 There are several design problems I'm noticing in GTA IV:

- The story is STILL Linear. A game with such vast world should have a more open story structure that would take advantage of that size, allowing for a more immersive experience.

- The Lock-on in GTA IV is laughable. I'm glad that the PC version doesn't have that awful shit, incase I'd want to get the game when it comes out later this year.

- Still alot of pointless stuff inside GTA IV, it almost never matters who you kill or hurt or rob... I want a GTA where the thugs come after you and thrash your apartment because you beat up one of their homies. I want a GTA where the police start investigating you because you killed 1 too many hookers. I want a GTA where you can double cross the guys you're working for. I want a GTA where you can sell info to the cops and be a snitch. I want a GTA where you can trick 2 gangs into fighting each other...

This situation is being discussed by other mods not named SSJ12 anyways.

We don't want any biased opinions here.
