To send messages with Soriku. And watch the blue light. Awwww the blue light...

I bought it because of the games, and so far i'm loving every one of them - Z&W, Endless ocean, SMG, NMH, RRR, MP3... so many to play, so little time, my PC is hardly getting any gaming love lately... And with titles to come (to Europe) such as Okami, SSBB, Boom Blox, Force Unleashed... i'll be broke but happy :) Not to mention WiiFit and MKWii which are waiting my next paycheck.

One of the minor reasons why i bought Wii was that i had only SDTV at the time. But now i'm buying a 1080p HDTV and i'm just not interested in PS3 or X360... i think that money is going to be invested in a nice HTPC.

.

I bought a wii because of the hype I think.  I just wanted to see what everyone was raving about and it was an inexpensive purchase.  The only game I've bought for it is Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (I've finished about half of it).  But I have Wii Sports since it comes with it and Wii Play because I got it with the extra remote.

It's a nice console, but it doesn't have that much to interest me at this time.  I don't care for the motion controls, but thankfully most games don't require it.  I'm still waiting for some of the RPG's it should eventually get.

Damn the grammar made me laugh.

Anyway I haven't bought a Wii yet but I am planning to simply because I don't want to miss out so much of the FUN they're saying.

I wanted to try something new and the motion controls interested me. Plus hearing Brawl announced sealed the deal. PC/wii combo fill most my need for now might get PS3 soon .

it's sad that no one said: "because I'm a marioboy =)))"

I'm getting it soon, and I'm buying it because I must own every Mario Kart ever launched for consoles AND because I will be able to play GC games (and that counts a lot for me)

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

I bought it for my grandpa and my 9 year old cousin. My grandpa lost interest after playing for 3 hours and my cousin said he is too old to play that kid crap. I never bought a game for it and hadn`t played it for more than 3 years now. All my friends that bought it lost interest after a month or so.

A couple of reasons:

1.  Durabiility:  I guess this is really proven from all of their systems.  Typically, they don't crap out a lot.

 2. Innovation: I am an avid FPS aficionado, so I figured tha genre would do wonders in motion sensing.  I absolutely love Heroes 2 and Red Steel, with some people nagging on the ladder.

3. Software:  They typically have the hottest first-party titles with the occasional third-party goodie.

I bought a Wii because I'm a Nintendo fanboy.

I enjoy it because it has the best library of a current gen non-handheld system, imho.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
