I see your point. It won't magically double, since progress needs EFFORT. 360 might've sold more on PS3's launch but notice the lag 360 sales are experiencing and put on to consideration how fast PS3 reached 10 mil.

For my prediction I'd like to play safe. Somewhere in Q3 2009.

I keep looking for this lag, but everytime I search for it, all I find is a significant INCREASE in sales year over year.

It will take a long time for the PS3 to catch up, i don't think it will happen next year, but possibly by the end of 2010. Even then, i think both consoles will finish this gen with an equal amount of units sold.

Quickly clarify that you mean approximately or relatively equal, before you get jumped on.

Well , i don't expect one console to have a significant amount more consoles sold than the other. Wii aside as the winner, there will be no losers.
