While I personally place some weight on someone's physical appearance (okay - quite a bit actually), it's the person inside the appearance that counts.

So yeah, if I happen to meet and develop feelings for a handicapped person, why not? You don't suddenly become a subhuman just because you've lost an arm or something.

If it's a physical handicap, then probably yes. If it was a mental handicap, then probably not.

If it was a physical handicap? Depends on the handicap. Quite possibly yes, after I got to know her - after a while its more about personality in any case, physical attraction is just to get you started off.

If it was mental? Once again depends on the handicap, I wouldn't not date somebody because they had something like anxiety disorder or anorexia but I wouldn't be at all attracted to somebody who had something like downs and I just couldn't date somebody with a degenerative disorder.

I would. The only exception is if it they were mentally disabled because I think it would be hard to have a relationship with someone you couldn't really talk to on a deeper level.

Seriously though, you can't control who you fall in love with. I've opened my heart to many different types of women, and I regret none of them. If the girl was handicapped, and I fell for her, I'd date her. My heart is usually pure.
