People were starving to death with the dictator Evo Morales?Bolivia was never a great country to begin with, but it was dumpster fire when he was leading it?He defrauded the "election" that happened just a few weeks ago?The list goes on and on and on....

This woman is like 1 or 2 weeks in power. At the very least, conidering the horrible history that the country has gone through, give her the benefit of the doubt....

That's not true at all. Under Evo Morales the economy grew 40%. Poverty went from 50%+ to at about 30%. This is just straight up misinformation Nautilus, i'm sorry. He eliminated illiteracy, gave power to the indigenous, which is 2/3 of the country. Before Morales, imagine a country so dominated by US interests, that the previous president couldn't even speak Spanish properly. He couldn't hide his heavily north American accent.

That woman is a disaster, and she already is presiding over a number of horrors. For one, former evo aligned politicians are getting dragged into the streets and beaten and shaven. Their houses being ransacked. She gave the police immunity for shooting and possibly killing protesters. This is a dark dark dark turn for the worse.

Good god, how can the world have such a twisted view of the South American countriess like that? This is why its so hard to have discussions with people that dont live in the country or near it.Bolivia is the second poorest country in the continent, and no one wants to visit it, specially because it was a socialist dictatorship country.

No, its quite the opposite.Bolivia is ih a horrible situation. And while it was already horrible before Morales, Morales just made it worst, with his populist government(that ultimately turned into a dictatorship, made even more obvious with the fraud in the elections). And no socialism government ever worked, and his government was no exception.

A (somewhat) nice video explaining the election fraud:

And while I dont agree completely with the article below, it helps to show how the people, and not just the military, dosent want the dictator in power anymore. It even shows some of the (supposed) improvement Morales did(because rarely someone is truly evil.Usually people start with good intentions):

Right wing politicians getting voted into office is a sign that not all is lost, it's about time people pushed back on the SJW cancer that is the modern left.

Racists who blame immigrants for unemployment and low wages...

That's what Bernie said in 2016, calling open borders a Koch brothers proposal for cheap labor.

However, the modern left abandoned the working class long ago in favor of revolutionary larping, hating Christianity and promoting sodomy.

Call it a bit of dark humour, but a crazy woman with an entourage carrying an absurdly large bible around is comical even political comic standards. Her first order of business is to hunt down all the witches and Satanists. This is more than just inmates running the asylum... the inmates have left the asylum and are now running their own third-world country.

Bolivia está loco!

WTF? like....

My faith in humanity sometimes man.

There's always weird pockets of the world moving backward. The world is generally moving forward, though.

Pockets? Brazil is a pocket? Ot the US? And what about all the extreme right polititians gaining popularity and power in Europe?

This is far worse than a pocket.

^ that... and the middle east, their moveing backwards too.

You know I find it amazing how one election is counted perfectly fine when it helps the opposition (and the OAS) and calls it election fraud when it doesn't suit them. What a strange dictator Morales is, getting elected by a majority but listening to the opposition so that he was even prepared for a second vote. But hey, we won't know that because the fascist right with the military forced him to resign to avoid bloodshed. Under threat. What a weird dictator to not even have the military behind him hmmmmm.

Such nonsense nautilus.

You know damn well what the history of Latin America is. How it has been historically treated as the backgarden of the US, with its rich and plenty resources been dominated by the US so much that fascistic brutal dictators had to be installed. People who with helicopters and planes threw other people into the ocean. And it is happening now, through the OAS and other special interest, almost like a bad movie script. It's incredible what mental gymnastics people will perform to approve of brutal military coups.

Heres a source of what you asked: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-50332167

Still making fun of any christian, radical or not, is accepted here and everywhere. Now making fun of Muslim, black heritage religions, etc is usually bad looked and said to be persecutive.

So the reason it isn't ok to mock Muslim is because their gospel is being met by them when they do bad stuff?

I think it's okay to make fun of whatever you want but I have a problem when that particular religion is taking over government. Either you believe in secularism or not. I know what I stand for.

This is a huge problem in the middle east.
Sad to see Turkey fall back back down the rabbit hole (islamization).

These faith based run countries never seem to do well (for the country or the people).
Its crazy that so many people are apparently willing to fight and die for it.

Being Christian is fine. Being a Christian fundamentalist fascist out to transform the government into a theocratic one out to persecute the natives cause of witchcraft is insane and should not ever be condoned.

The main stuff the Christian Gospels are against is the stuff she's doing.

Huh? Not once did I argue that.

Is this straw man argument your way of justifying this crazy video?

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Theres degree's to issues...... the thing in Turkey, is alot worse than whatever impact the bible belt states in the US, has on the country.

Evangelical Christianity - not all, but seemingly a majority of its denominations - is the Western world equivalent to Wahhabi Sunni Islam (or 19th century Puritanism, as you prefer). What is happening in South America is also happening in parts of Europe and Oceania. See Uganda, who nearly instituted the death penalty for homosexuals based on Evangelical missionary activity, or Samoa becoming basically a theocracy.

Ironically or tragically, Morales and other leaders had a direct hand on it, since the increasing standards of living and the burgeoning middle class popularized prosperity theology and right-wing economic politics in the face of a South American tradition of catholic distributism.
