The best deals for PS4 were in November, Pro+Spider, the only one other good deals I remember is PS VR ( without PS4 ) with 2 games. The deals in December were abysmal compared to that.

Oh, because we talking the new ideas, yes, the PS VR is totally a new idea here, new way to consume games. Meh games like Thumper are glourios in VR, the PSVR got it ground for once, great achievemnt.

What stands for our discussion, the problem I see here is that over 50% of Switch's sales last year were done in Holidays, and Holidays=deals by default. For comparison, PS4 got 5.2 or 4, what is closer to 25%. Lazy to count.

Not to even bring the thread that N consoles generally have its peak faster than PS, thats another big discussion.

Edit - please do not bring Xbox One in any kind of sales discussion, the MS cut it willingy long time ago.

 If we only count Super Mario Odyssey as the only top scoring game, a game released on the first year of the Switch, it's still more than PS4 (which has any 97/100 metacritic exclusive game despite being on its 6th year).

But you have to put BOTW here, despite being released simultaneously on the Wii U. And why not count Super Smash Bros Ultimate ? It got 92/100.

Zelda BoTW was released on Wii U, Smash... OK, maybe let say its a brand new game, but there is a objections to it, and an argument even between  N fans.

Still, PS4 has 3 brand new games in above90 exclusives, GoW,U4,BloodBorne, Switch has 1 or 2.

If we count remasters/ports, the PS4 is winning 6 to 5 so far.

Comparing libraries of a console over 5 years old to one under 2 years old.......makes sense.

Zelda was indeed released also on the Wii U on the same day, but that's not the point, it's the Switch version which won GOTY and scored 97 on metacritic. And there is no discussion about Smash being a brand new game.
