This year that honor goes to God of War. It's not there because it got an 87, but I have to choose Spider-Man too.

only played smash and red dead 2 so I go with smash. I have god of war but haven't started it yet

I thought RDR2 would be my GOTY, but having played GOW, nothing this gen has topped this masterpiece.

Easily 2018 GOTY for me. Possibly GOTG!

Hard to pick between MHW and DQXI. DQXI would normally win by default, but MHW was just so fun. In the end, I will have to give it to DQXI for being a more complete product day 1. MHW has had continous DLC and will have a new game soon, so maybe it wins 2019.

Of the listed ones, Smash, though the Jury is still open on Dragon Quest (waiting for the Switch version)

Otherwise, Two Point Hospital

Out of the selected ones, Monster Hunter World was my favorite, followed closely by Smash Ultimat

BUT.... those were not my favorite games this year, which were Detroit:Become Human and GRIS

God Of War, was by far, my most favorite game this year. RDR2, was just, meh, imo. It was good, but got very tiresome. Too many sides missions, made me kinda lose track of the main story focus.
