Title says 19.37, OP says 19.67

Ok result for hardware but they noted that momentum has been increasing in every region since around E3 so hopefully next quarter looks better.

Thanks, I'm a little distracted seeing anime here :)

Softwares doing great! Slow start for hardware though, 1.88m for the quarter.

I'm upset that 1-2-switch is still selling, at this rate it's going to be in the top 10 first party sales FOREVER

Momentum is diffidently slowing down for switch, last year if there was stock, would make this years numbers look pathetic. Interesting note Europe combined with ROTW has out shipped the americas for the first time by 30k.

Also Labo did 1.39m between both packs.

Switch hardware almost at 20 million, Mario Tennis did insane numbers 1.38 million after 1 week, Switch version Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze is going to out sell the Wii U version in no time at all only 300k off. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is Monolithsoft's biggest success. ARMS sells 2 million in just a year. Zelda Botw about to be Switch's 3rd 10 million seller. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe becomes Switch's 2nd 10 million seller and fantastic numbers as always for Mario Odyssey.

From Nintendo's Earning Release

For Nintendo Switch, hardware sales in every region have been trending upwards since the video game expo, E3, was held in the US in June. In parallel with an increase in digital sales, software sales also have been moving in good shape towards the holiday season.

https://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/pdf/2018/180731e.pdf

Nintendo is also keeping their forecast of 20 million HW and 100 million SW sales for this FY.

---------------------------------------------

We'll have to see in the long run I guess if that's truly the case, but the momentum difference is more due to a slow period of releases during this period. The first quater won't tell too much yet for the Switch's momentum for the whole fiscal year. As above Nintendo Nintendo specifically mentioned Switch trending upwards since E3 were the data cuts off after 2 weeks.

It did last quarter but they also mentioned that momentum has been increasing in each region since around E3 so looks like they might have a good summer.
