Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

We are actually awful under Emery. Can't create anything, it's like there's no plan at all how to score a goal. Terrible football all around. He needs to go asap.

Anyone know if there was er... any football on this weekend? Not been paying attention... Yeah, that's right.

Hmm, pie.

That Var decision in favour of Palace is shocking also United's Mctominay is showing some promise.

Oh look, refs robbing us points again. Yesterday was something else though, couldn't believe it. Also that first United penalty.. VAR has been a complete joke on PL.

That aside, another dreadful performance and our club is a huge mess. I don't know if I've seen such badly coached bigger team for a while. Maybe Lopetegui's Real Madrid?

I can't believe what a fraud Emery actually is. Check his website for his football philosophy.. you see none of it on the pitch. He has lost the dressing room without a doubt, players look clueless and frustrated. Tired of seeing them fall over easily and faking stuff. Now that Xhaka incident. Özil situation? He rather plays Torreira, Saka or Ceballos as his attacking mid which doesn't work ever ffs.

Lampard has been at Chelsea for a handful of games and you can already see the football he wants to play. A year and a half of Emery and nobody knows what he is trying to do :S

What the fuck is going on? Can't see us winning any games anymore unless Aubameyang pulls a rabbit out of his hat.

Has VAR overturned a card yet? It's helped given them out (as per saints game) but until it overturns a ref decision to not give a card, then it will never be used fully. If it's going to be used to overturn goals then it also needs to be used on EVERY penalty decision as well but it never will be because that slows down the game.

Thre was a yellow for card in a game I watched a little bit ago, didn't look like a dive to me, more of a falling over but the player got a yellow for it. VAR would look back and may say "Nah he just tripped, no foul but no dive." But don't think that would happen as the card has been given.

A goal can change the game and will be overturned. A red card can change it more but won't be.

That's because VAR rules are not only different in each league and tournament so have different powers of reach but it's not used in every game plus people are still hesitant of this idea of a third party entity outside the match potentially influencing the game it's not like Rugby where it is present in every game with a universal set of rules and people are used to the possibility of play being checked and even then the TMO still gets some decisions wrong but it's accepted the referees word is final.

The football implementation of it only leads to inconsistencies.

I think a straight red can be overturned by VAR. But if a player is already on a yellow and ref makes a decision to give another yellow, it won't be checked by VAR. I might be wrong though.

Referee simply should see the video himself like they did in World Cup. He makes the final decision anyway? Of course this won't stop them from making stupid decisions.. fuck it, they should just check offsides and red cards.

Would you look at that Batshuayi goal. Just for that Man Utd doesn't deserve to advance.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
