More big news coming out of Sony. Their deal was due to expire this year. Should ensure great playstation exposure right up until the ps5 launch.

It sells Playstation because they associate it with Playstation with these deals.

If they hadn't it would sell just as much on Xbox. It's not a bad deal at all. It's one of the major factors why Europe is Sonyland.

The champions league is where you watch the best club football. Playstation associates themselves with it and make themselves look cool and gaming with playstation more socially acceptable. Sure, it's tapping into the dude-bro audience, but it's how they increase their sales.
