It seems that Microsoft's prime focus for the new 360mote is going to be in Japan and Rare will be instrumental in supporting the device with new software such as a new Banjo title and Viva Pinata. Halo Wars will also be supporting the device.

Fixed the link...sometimes a space might be at the end of the link, and that screws it up...so just check for that.

That sounds like a really good idea. If microsoft could get that going, it might be a nice boost. Especially if they design it towards rts games.

Doing this for JAPAN is a fatal mistake. It will be a huge flop.
Europe is what they should be focusing on at the moment.

That plan fails, if it's only for Japan they are very stupid. Thats the only place where it wont help lolz.

When will Microsoft realize that they will NEVER win in Japan this gen? Throwing money into a hole without any (or very little) benefit isn't worth it.

If they put this much effort (supporting Mistwalker, buying exclusives) into the European market instead, they probably would win that by now
