Well... there are a few references to previous games (the director confirmed it, there is actually one reference to the previous trilogy in one of the trailers) , it's not even a direct reboot it's more like a sequel/soft reboot just in terms of gameplay, the Norse setting and character motivations, but it's the same Kratos and everything that happened in the previous games affect Kratos his past is tied with him, and he will be obviously killing gods in this game so yeah its a God of War game with a few changes

Obviously he was talking about metacritic... But i guess when you're looking for a Nintendo win, change the rules.

Almost any Call of Duty will sell more and be played longer, and nobody tried to bring it into the discussion so far. 

 

"A multi-player game will be played longer than a single player game". How surprising. And in other genius news, water is wet! 

Call of Duty won't score over 90%. 

It's not my problem that Sony seems to struggle at making decent multi-player games. You can brag all you want about God of War, and even diss Microsoft while you're at it, but Smash will still smash God of War.

Not at all, someone asked which game can potentially top GoW this year. 

Don't ask a question if you can't handle the answer. 

As a historian I like games like GoW, that are based on mythology. I have no axes to grind here, other than with some overzealous fans that had to bring Microsoft into this discussion.

Nah, that wasn't simply an answer. It was a "nanny nanny boo boo" with a tongue sticking out and a "so there!" on top of it. You could've simply kept it at "Smash Bros. will score better" but you went on to say GOW will be forgotten and also bashed Sony for (in your opinion) not making good multiplayer games. Just went a bit over the top with your answer is all.

Nice catch. Their bringing up MS is pretty much equivalent to your bashing of Sony and touting Nintendo. But we all go over the top with our fandom every once in a while. I call it "Console Protection Mode".
