Smash Bros. Brawl for me. Over 3000 hours played. And that Wii went to local tournaments all the time. So it was about 1000 hours for multiplayer, and the other 2000....online. It was the first time I played an online game so being able to play against other people for the first time (other than my family) at any time of the day was huge for 15 year old me. Which is why I don't want Smash on Switch...you won't see me for a while.

That would be Everquest. Played from mid 2000 to early 2005 (switched to WoW) at an average of 3 to 5 hours a night during the week, upto 12 hours a day/night in the weekends, more when raiding until early morning. The game measured time played in weeks and days, it was a lot. Easily over 5000 hours total.

I can't tell how much time I played with my Wii games because I gave away my Wii when I turned 13

FF7

''Hadouken!''

Over 1000 hours in Uncharted 4 and still counting.

Over 10,000 hours played in World of Warcraft. And most of that in the first few years. I haven't even bought Legion, and I am not sure if I will. Not even close to the others.

2nd and 3rd place is around 1500 hours.

10,000 hours in the first few years? An average of 7 to 9 hours per day?

I don't think they appreciated it as much as I thought they would. It turned into the Netflix machine. But the Wii died like a year later anyways i guess.

Off the top of my head, it's either Smash Bros. Melee, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, or Sonic Heroes.

I was all over my GameCube when I was a kid, and those were the 3 games I played the most, without question.

That's not that far fetched. When I lived alone I would work, go home, play Everquest, start at about 7pm, play until 3am when I had the chance, more in the weekend. Hence I'm now seeing a chiropractor weekly for my neck for the rest of my life. It was worth it, I think... My social life was in the game, it really wasn't much more than a glorified chatroom in the early days. Eat, chat, watch tv while playing.
