From a hardware perspective which is important for multiplats... The Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro is the inferior choice.
If you already have a Playstation 4 Pro though, would I suggest you invest in the Xbox One X?
Most certainly not, to me the gains don't warrant the investment. - If you have a base Playstation 4 or Xbox One, then there is value in upgrading, even if you have a 1080P or less display.
For exclusives, that all comes down to personal preference, the Playstation 4 does have quantity on it's side in that regard, Microsoft needs to sort out it's shiznit.

Xbox has nothing that appeals to me and I'm not interested in getting a Pro (the regular PS4 is enough for me), so I'd rather buy a Nintendo Switch

Sorry to butt in, but if it's blatant, then shouldn't you be showing the context since it wouldn't be that hard to do so? One has done the due diligence of providing citations while the other hasn't bothered, making his arguments come off as mere assertions.
Xbox all the way. I don't own a ps4 yet this gen because I don't care for their exclusives, they focus on quantity over quality with a lot of japanese shovelware so the PSN store would be taxing to navigate, I don't trust PSN after I was hacked on my PS3 (sony refunded my money, but said it was a one time thing), and I don't like the dualshock which is your main source of communication with a console.
PUBG and Sea of Thieves are hugely anticipated games with my network of friends so it's a no brainer which console I stay with.
I've never heard of Now Loading so I don't care what they think.

There’s nothing to elaborate. Perks provided by horsepower are not real perks unless it’s his console of predilection that has the upper hand.

Funny I own a Dreamcast, PS1, PS3, PS4 Pro, Wii U, XBOX1 S, and a XBOX Scorpio Edition X. Oh and a Sony 4K 2017. This is not hard.
