Still on Chapter 4 exploring Mor Ardain, lol.

Some of you are going WAY too fast.

Or ... Am I too slow ?

I'm just hooked and intrigued at the story that I haven't been doing sidequests, I'm 40hrs in too, I'll probably do the sidequests when I feel like I'm near the ending.

So far, there is a sidequest where you even obtain a rare blade. Kinda sad story. Also there are sidequests which have tondo when you want to max out the abilities of your rare blades.

Where can I start this quest? And is tondo a new member/secret ally of the 5 I currently have or a blade, location?

The sidequest is located in the town of Gormott. You need to talk to a woman called Vess to start it. You have to be on chapter 4 and later.

Sorry, i misspelled. I meant to write.... "..which you have to do when....."

Didn't checked what I have wroten. Also using touch keyboard....

So far, every Rare Blade comes with their own quest and tasks to complete.

I just finished chapter 4 last night it was great. I did some sidequest but any sidequest that requires too much random collecting got skipped

Talking about stuff ...

Something horrible happenned to me ...

I lost 6 hours of progression because I didn't save during all day !! I thought the game had an auto-save feature ?!!

I re-did half of it last night, but ugh !! It disgust me when it does happen.

AutoSaves primarily happen with blade bonding.

The director of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Tetsuya Takahashi, has posted a long list of changes that will soon come along with the 1.1.1 update of his game.

The update will include an Easy Mode for Tiger! Tiger!, mini-map improvements, more items for the Expansion Pass, bug fixes and quality-of-life changes. Other than that, the update will also include new enhancements that aren’t targeted towards fixing preexisting bugs. For example, a feature that allows the player to view their map while selecting a place to fast travel.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will also be getting another update early next year. It will add New Game+ with the ability to recruit certain Blades, functionality to send story-related blades like Pyra and Dromarch on merc missions, and you’ll be able to unlock certain Blades’ level 4 move.

The first update is slated for December 21 (December 20 in North America), according to Takahashi. The second patch should be available around the time of the Quests Pack from the Expansion Pass in January.

Map update - Awesome
New Game + Wonder what will carry over or what will be benefit over this versus just starting a new game.
Tiger! Tiger! easy mode. Game is easy enough, imo, but I'm not against making something grind heavy less grindy or more easy I suppose.

Yeah, the Mini-map improvement and QoL fixes are very welcome.
New Game+ sounds intriguing, as I have already decided I'm going to replay this one fairly soon.
