Now I’m beginning to think the npd will be ps4>xb1>switch, the opposite of what I expected earlier... I think with the x there’s little chance that the xb1 comes last, and based on amazon at least, PS4 is going to quickly overtake them both.

Uhhh...what? Switch has been almost unmoved this entire time, how would it be 2nd when Xbox is all over the place

Idkkk I’m probably wrong, I just feel like amazon isn’t indicative of xb1x (didn’t Microsoft say it did even better than in the uk relatively?). I still think there’s like a 33% chance for each to win.

Yeah, Amazon is not literally representative of any hardware though. The U.K.'s opening week was 80k for Xbox One X, which is great but that wouldn't translate to impressive numbers because "it did better in the U.S. relative to the U.K." Like, no shit Microsoft?

I don't think it even makes sense to say that the Switch will definitely be 2nd, it was selling at the top until the hardware cut and it still has more skus near the top than the PS4. I pretty much won't be surprised if either PS4 or Switch. Xbox One X is still doing great tho

Wow, The Gray Switch is battling with the PS4 with no discount, I wonder if it will continue to rise.

Holy moses I don't remember this thread having so many comments... but then again, this is the most exciting time of the year for sales.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Switch will take this month. I'm really impressed.

With a switch at 4th and 12th... I'd say it's probably still outselling the ps4. Next ps4 is all the way back at 75.
Given how long the Scorpio and XIX were in the top 10 for while the ps4s were really struggling to get into the top 50 I think that the damage is done. Especially considering xbox had several other sku's in the top 50. It's going to be hard for Sony to catch up. At least going by Amazon. Other retailers are something else and who knows what will happen on black Friday.

Nice to see Switch some what keeping up with PS4 even without any discount. Being at #4, #12 and #100 should be fairly on par with PS4 at #2, #75 and #84.

It doesn't need to succeed it or anything for November to sell tremendously well, but it following close to the PS4 on one of it's best performing years certainly gives us an idea on it's performance and it is pretty impressive for a first holiday season on the market and at higher price with no discount.

Certainly a good sign and it's nice to see Nintendo doing so well this year.
