We had this feature years ago. Good to see it return. I think, back then, we had a few minutes to edit before the time stamp kicked in, tough.

It's funny how such a simple thing affects the way people post. I mean what does it matter that people will see that you've edited post? That's still better then leaving incomprehensible typos or unnecessary offensiveness in your post.

Indifferent for me. I hardly edit, and when I do is basically seconds after hitting submit.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

So what happens when you edit a post and then youre moderated? And then banned? Is there an edit and then a mod tag? That might be ugly v.v XD

It's a good feature but it's way too eye-catching. Make the font size slightly smaller and remove bolding. Also, the edit text seems to be too far below the actual content, so can make posts much larger than necessary.

EDIT: Would you look at that... Pretty much just what I suggested was implemented as I was trying to post this.

...and that's why I brought it back. :)

I vaguely remember the "few minute" rule, too - maybe I'll add that.

Great work again!! However, the edit tag doesn't seem to show up when you use the "view post" function.

Nice reimplementation. I like it more

Nice! I reckon adding a few minute rule would be good, because most edits probably happen a few minutes after posting, e.g. to fix typos. Also, posts like the one from you I'm quoting right now are why I sometimes would like an upvote feature for posts. No, that's not an actual request, but some posts are just begging for upvotes.

Why should it?

EDIT: Well, actually I guess it should. I was thinking about editing/quoting at first, and didn't think it through when I realized you said 'view' and not 'edit' or 'quote'. You're absolutely right; it should show up when viewing a post.

So when I'm trying to share posts with other people, they'll know that the post was edited.
