Quality > Quantity

PS4 Quality > Switch Quality

The tablet is noticeably easier to scratch than the PS4 exterior's finish.

^ obviously a PR guy is going to make sport sound as appealing as possible. We will get a GT7 with an amount of tracks and cars as a regular mainline entry has.

Anyway everything I claim about there going to be a GT7 is my opinion. I do not need facts to form this opinion. However I will be either proven right or proven wrong in the next few years.

In this case the PR guy would be the creator of the franchise.

Honestly, all those PS4 software sales are disappointing. Especially GTS and Psycho Break 2.

Since this is the first Gran Turismo on the console, think this will hurt Gran Turismo Next or can they recover from this, assuming it even comes out this generation. Oh god, that just crossed my mind, the development time with the company it might be the only Gran Turismo on exclusively on the PS4.

Not necessarily.

The new engine developed for PS4 is to be used in a way that if they decide that instead of putting more DLCs they are going to do GTS2 or GT7 it would be smooth... also would allow for transition to PS5 faster.

Also not bad from Itadaki Street:

06./00. [WII] Itadaki Street Wii (Square Enix) {2011.12.01} (¥6.090) - 27.640 / NEW
4. (PSP, Square Enix) Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy in Itadaki Street Portable - 48,342

Has it become the best-selling one already!? If yes, this is clearly beyond "not bad" performance. Outselling previous entries while the market has slumped since then is a huge result. Disappointed by the Vita figure though, I'd imagine that's the kind of game you play on the go with friends.

Kyoei Toshi looks like it did good by the excellent sellthrough. Can't say the same for GTS : doing less than GT6 is a disaster, and the poor solo content won't help for legs. I'm pessimistic for the future of GT now :(

Confirmation that Lost Sphear is a lost cause with Switch version out (another proof that the fast-selling Switch makes no miracles for 3rd parties) and PS4 version still under 40% sold.

On the other hand, Sen III has passed 120K physical. With the record digital ratio, it might get close to Sen II.

Shocking that with the amount of new releases for PS4 this week especially a big first party one, it only got less than 200 units more than the Switch which had practically no new releases this week (NBA 2K already released on eshop so it's not new).

Quality > Quantity

PS4 has quality and quantity.  It's why it's so dominant WW.

Well last gen had a prologue which did decent and then GT5 went on to do very well. I expect GT7 to do much better.

Yes it might be the only one exclusive this gen but ps4 doesn't need another.  It's going to sell well over 100m with or without an exclusive GT7.

In fact I'd argue it's more beneficial to have it on ps5 launch to help successful launch that comsole.

Wouldn't be the first time a PR guy hasn't told the whole truth.  Whether maker of the game or not.

He isn't a PR guy, the most you could say is that he is doing PR. But in that way you would have to say that anyone talking about something they work is a PR guy.

Yep he's promoting his game.  Obviously they don't want the game to have the prologue tag and want people to look at it as mainline to maximise sales.
